Frequently asked questions

What is the MYA Journal?

It is our publication space: guides and syntheses on re-education, rehabilitation, adapted physical activity and adherence, written from official guidelines and reference literature.

Who are the articles for?

Primarily health professionals, but they are written to be readable by everyone: patients, journalists, students. They do not replace the advice of a health professional.

What sources do the articles rely on?

On reference sources: official guidelines (HAS, WHO, professional societies), literature reviews and public data. Press articles, blogs and commercial websites are never used as sources.

How are articles reviewed?

Every article is reviewed by MYA's editorial committee before publication, dated, then reviewed again every year. Every piece of information is linked to a source cited at the end of the article.

What is a level of evidence?

It is the confidence that can be placed in a conclusion, depending on the type and quality of the studies behind it. Our guide to levels of evidence in health explains the HAS grades and the GRADE approach.

How often is the Journal published?

The Journal starts with two pieces a month. The Journal letter, sent once a month, summarizes the new publications.
